On The Water provides thousands of young people from low-income communities the chance to experience waterborne adventure and earn qualifications. By providing a programme of free activities including sailing, rowing, paddlesports and more, Sea Cadets enables disadvantaged young people the chance for exercise and fun, but most importantly longer-lasting benefits of increased confidence, new friends, and expanded horizons.
It is especially critical now, as young people emerge from a prolonged lockdown, that they have the right opportunities available to them.
We know that after Covid-19, young people across the country are still continuing to feel the effects of the pandemic. The boost to their spirits and health and the hope of future opportunities is key to unlocking their potential and ensuring they thrive in a post-pandemic world.

Together we can offer these young people a chance to try out something fun that they might never have dreamed of, grow through challenging themselves, and for some – our target is 5-10% - to move on to Sea Cadets and longer-term opportunities.
Any help to get us to our goal is appreciated. By pledging a donation today you'll be ensuring more young people can embark on an adventure with life-changing consequences.
