ISCRM 2019

ISCRM 2019

Today our cadets are returning from a week of representing Eastern Area Sea Cadets at the Inter-Service Cadet Rifle Meeting (ISCRM), which takes place every year at NRA Bisley.

The competition is a series of shooting matches between Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, and Air Cadets, including cadets from Canada and Hong Kong.

Our cadets have performed amazingly throughout the weekend and have done extremely well, especially as first time Target Rifle shooters.

LCpl Wolnicki and LC Robertson were both selected to represent the Sea Cadets in the Inter-Service Finals, competing directly against the best 16 shooters of the ACF and ATC.

Both LCpl Wolnicki and LC Robertson also achieved CCRS Medals for their scores as one of the top RMC shooters and best SCC Team respectively.

An amazing achievement by all 3 cadets and certainly an incredible experience.

BZ all!

More photos and information can be found on the Eastern Area Sea Cadets Shooting page

(Please Note: Cadets are taught weapon handling skills as part of a structured programme of supervised training that emphasises safe and responsible use)
