Unit Review 2023

Unit Review 2023

Thank you and well done to all of our cadets for the effort that went into preparing for the Unit Review on Thursday evening.

Congratulations for all those that received presentations, including a 12 year award for our Unit Admin Officer and 6 year award for our Unit Chaplain.

Unit Review went well and the District Officer had a lot of positives to say about the unit, although some change does lay ahead as the Unit Review was the last parade night of our Commanding Officer - Lt Pam Holloway. The District Officer and former Malvern CO, LtCdr Barber, will act as an interim Commanding Officer until such a time where a new permanent CO can be officially appointed.

The ships company extend their thanks to Lt Holloway for all of her effort and dedication to the role over the last 7 years.

District Drill and Piping Success

4 April 2018

Malvern unit is always active in Sea Cadet competitions, and this year's trophy chase started well with the Severn District Drill and Piping Competition.

Again this year we entered individuals and teams into the Junior and Senior Piping competitions, and for the first time entered an ARMED GUARD.

The day was a great success with our Piping Team taking 1st place, and Malvern unit being overall winners of the competition.
