Our award-winning Junior Cadet section for young people aged 9–11 is now open and actively recruiting new members.

Junior Cadets take part in a wide range of fun and challenging activities including boating, games, teamwork exercises, adventure training and learning new skills, all while building confidence and making new friends.

We are also welcoming enquiries from prospective Senior Cadets aged 12–18, although the unit is currently operating a waiting list for older cadets.

To help continue expanding opportunities for our cadets, we are also looking for new adult volunteers to support the unit. Whilst experience in activities such as boating would be welcomed, no previous experience is required and full training and support is provided.
