Offshore Voyages 2023

Offshore Voyages 2023

Attached is a copy of the 2023 offshore Voyage Programme.

The Nation Support Centre have updated the Voyage booking process to allow for fairer distribution of voyages across the Corps at a national level.

In order to facilitate the roll-out of the Portal Course Bookings system, there will be a staged release of voyages each month. This will provide Units 14 days to submit bids for their cadets to voyage with the offshore fleet. When the booking window closes, an internal selection process, undertaken by the NSC, will then determine which cadets will be allocated to a particular voyage.

Successful bids will automatically generate an email to the parents/guardians, commencing the payment online process, to enable this we need to have correct emails recorded on Westminster. Cadets who are not selected for a particular voyage will remain in reserve. On Westminster, the cadet’s bid will remain as ‘pending’, or 'reserve'.

The contribution for a single week voyage during the 2023 season is £365. Two-week long voyages will require a contribution of £642. Bursaries are available to assist with costs, please speak to the Commanding Officer for more information.

The booking windows for Units to bid for voyages will be as follows:
