We will be having a sponsored bike ride at Salt Ayre Sports Centre on Sunday 15th May 2016. The will be supported by Halfords. Good luck to everyone involved
Sailing Taster Day
On Saturday 21st May we will be working alongside Morecambe Bay Sailing Club to provide sailing taster sessions to all of our cadets

Dining Out of Padre G. Moore RNR
On Saturday 14th February we had a mess dinner to celebrate the help and commitment that Padre G. Moore RNR has given to the unit over the past 4 years. We are sorry to see you go Geoff and hope you keep in touch. You will be missed
Bingo Night
On Wednesday 10th February we the unit hosted a bingo night, this was to raise funds for both Morecambe Unit & Kendal Unit who had suffered unit damage during the flooding and aftermath of Storm Desmond in December 2015.
This event raised £331.25 which will be split between the two units

Saturday 18th July - Bag Pack
On Saturday 18th July we are bag packing at Morrisons in Morecambe 0900 - 1600. The more support we get the more funds we raise to increase you experiences.
WELL DONE!
Well done to all the cadets that entered the Area Boating Regatta. We had teams come 7th and 8th in the Area. One team get into the final of their catagory. Two of our cadets got 2nd place in Junior Boys Doubles and our senior girls team got 1st place in teh open double 500m sprint. We are so proud of every single one of you. BZ and Well Done!!!
Saturday 11th July - Area Boating Regatta
We are entering teams into the Area Boating Regatta. Our cadets have been practicing hard for the paddle sport category and are very excited to be part of the day. It will be held at the Sir John Fisher Sailing Center in Barrow, come along and let us show you what we can do. Good Luck Guys!!!
Saturday 11th July - Knot End Festival
We have been asked to join in with the Knot End Festival this year. We will be having a stall so if you are free please come and see us!
