A big thank you also to the parents who helped out over the weekend, We couldn't have done it without you.

CO-OP Community Fund

CO-OP Community Fund

Here at the Sea Cadets each unit is an individual charity and we rely almost entirely on donations and fundraising to run the unit and keep it open. This includes everything for the day to day running of the unit from water rates to electricity, at the moment we desperately need a new boiler for the heating system, this will cost us aprox £3000. Fundraising helps us to provide the fantastic opportunities to the cadets such as offshore voyages, sailing and a multitude of different courses and experiences.
This year we are one of the local charities being supported by the CO-OP's local community fund.
if you or one of your family or friends shop at the CO-OP and have a membership card, if you choose TS Aberconwy as your chosen local charity to support, 1% of all your spend will be donated to us.
you can opt into this programme at https://www.coop.co.uk/membership

So far this year it has raised £573, we still need a further £2500 to replace our boiler and be able to operate in the winter months. Please help if you can!

Wormhout 2018

Wormhout 2018

All of our cadets have done themselves, the unit and the Sea Cadets proud at all of the events and parades we attended in and around Wormhout. Especially at the Menin gate in Ypres, it was an extremely moving ceremony.

BZ to all cadets and adult volunteers who have represented the Sea Cadets!
