On the 15th of November, the unit hosted our annual Cadet Awards Night in which we showcased the  cadets acvhievements over the course of the last 12 months. We invited parents, local mayors and the North Wales District Team to attend and our VIPs presented some of the awards. We had an opening ceremony consisting of the Colour & Standard as opposed to Colours and a 'half-time' display performed by the PT Branch of the unit. Well done to all cadets for their achievements over the last year. Let's make next year even better! Below is a list of the main awards and the cadets who won them.

On the 11th of November, cadets attended the Remembrance Parades in Llandudno, Conwy, Colwyn Bay & Penrhyn Side. This year was the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One and as a unit, wanted to ensure as many cadets as possible took part in the parades. All cadets turned out very smart and acted in a very professional and respectful manner. Very well done all! Our main parade was in Llandudno, however we had sent representatives to Conwy, Colwyn Bay & Penrhyn Side. On the evening of Remembrance Sunday, cadets and staff attended the Beacons Lighting at the Great Orme Summit - very well done to those who attended!

On the 3rd & 10th of November, the cadets represented the Unit at Tesco in Llandudno Junction selling poppies on the behalf of the Royal British Legion. Another fantastic turn out for the unit. Well done to all cadets and staff involved!

On the 4th of November, cadets and staff represented the Unit at the Commemoration Service at St John's Church in Old Colwyn. Cadets were asked to take part in this moving service by reading out some of the 23 names which do not appear on the War Memorial. Leading Cadet Chris Thomas attended to carry the standard. Well done and thanks to all involved!
