As we come to the end of 2017, at Campbeltown Sea Cadets we have a lot to be proud of.
We had 6 cadets on TS John Jerwood, 5 RYA yachts, 4 RYA windsurfing, 4 RYA powerboat, 5 at Summer Camp, 5 at DAfT, 3 on Intermediate catering and of course AC Ellie gaining her Advanced Sailing. These are just some of the activities cadets were involved in and for a very small Unit, we have achieved much! To finish off the year, following the Unit's annual inspection and review, we received the award of a Pennant.
We hope to continue to give young people these great opportunities and training, giving them skills that will stay with them for life. If you or someone you know would like to join in with the adventures and fun, yes, it is also about having fun, come along after the New Year and find out what the Sea Cadets can offer you. We are also looking for adult helpers, so please contact us to find out more.
