Carradale Service

Carradale Service

On Sunday 10th May, cadets from TS Campbeltown attended the Fishermen’s Mission service held at Carradale Harbour, followed by a service at Saddell & Carradale Church.

The service was led by our Chairman and Chaplain, Rev. Sass, bringing together members of the local community to remember and honour those connected to the fishing industry, especially those who have been lost at sea. As part of the service, the Commanding Officer, CPO(SCC) MacPhail, gave a reading of Psalm 46.

The Fishermen’s Mission were also in attendance, alongside the Lord Lieutenant Mrs Jane MacLeod, the Kintyre Veterans, Carradale School, HM Coastguard, and members of the local community, all showing their support and respect during this important occasion.

During the service, a wreath was respectfully laid on behalf of the unit by AC Grace, marking a moment of reflection and remembrance. The cadets represented the unit well throughout the day, demonstrating excellent conduct, respect, and professionalism at this meaningful community event.
