Wolverhampton Sea Cadets had the pleasure of attending and parading at Wolverhampton's Armed Forces Day in West Park in june 2024 upon which Cadet Megan was inaugurated as the 24-25 Mayoral Cadet.  Well done Megan!  A great day was had by all!

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Wolverhampton  Sea Cadet unit will be held at the Sea Cadet unit 93 Springfield Road Wolverhampton WV10 0LQ at 7 p.m. on Thursday 18 July 2024 to conduct the following business.

Election of the Unit Management Team (UMT) trustees – Individuals who are seeking nomination will need to contact the Unit Chair by email to ensure that the necessary criteria has been achieved wolverhamptonscc374@gmail.com for further details by the 8 July 2024.

All nominations will need to be proposed and seconded prior to the AGM.

MERCIA DISTRICT PIPING COMPETITION 2024

Wolverhampton Unit Piping Team cleaned up at the recent Mercia District Piping Competition with the overall team coming 2nd overall out of 8 units and CFC Brookshaw and Ac Marfo coming 1st and 2nd respectively out of 8 in the Individual Competion and now off to Area Competition to represent the district!  Well done all!

National Cadet Voice Nominations

National Cadet Voice Nominations

Cadet Abena (right) has been successful in applying for a position on the National Cadet Voice Team. Kwame will be one of two representatives responsible for the whole of South West  Area along with the First Sea Lord's Cadet.

There was a strong pool of applications submitted and Abena was selected as a  cadet who wanted to help others, make positive changes, include everyone, and work with other as a part of a team.

In December Wolverhampton Cadets competed at the district 5 a side foorball competition with our Junior Boys coming 4th out of 8, juniors sea cadets coming 5 our of 8 and junior girl coming 1st in a joint team and is off to Area competition - well done!
