Rowing Competition

On Saturday 3rd June we had a cadet Coxwain the boat for Sheppey unit for the District Rowing competition.

Unfortuanlty we didn't have enough cadets avaliable in the right age groups to make our own team.

The cadet that acted as Coxwain for Sheppys team only started rowing at the start of May this year.

She attended a weeks rowing course at SABS (Southern Area Boat Station) and managed to come away form the course with her supervised Coxwains qualification.

Sheppey team won the competition and our cadet will join them at the Area competition next month - Good luck!

On Sunday 28th May we entered a cadet into the District Paddlepsorts competition.

This was the first time Sittingbourne had entered this competition in a very long time.
