Submariners Parade & Wreath Laying Ceremony

Portrush Sea Cadets and staff attended the Submariners Parade and wreath laying ceremony in Dervock on Saturday, 8th March 2014.  Everyone paraded to the War Memorial for a short service and wreath laying ceremony.  The salute was taken by Rev K Crowe Major, Army Cadets.

New Entry’s  promotion training 11th January 2014

All new entry cadets attended the promotional day held at The Unit.  During the day lots of sessions were covered and passed.  The new entry cadets were very interested and asked a lot of intelligent questions.

There was a good attendance of cadets at the 2nd promotional weekend held at The Unit

Over the weekend lots of sessions were covered and passed.  The cadets also enjoyed treats of cup cakes and choc ices.

NI Sea Cadets Football Competition

NI Sea Cadets Football Competition

Our Senior Boys Team, Junior Boys Team & Junior Girls Team took part in the N.I. Sea Cadets Football competition at Carrickfergus Leisure Centre on Sunday, 12th January 2014. The best seven cadets from each age group were chosen to represent N.I. Sea Cadets in the National Competition to take place in February.

CDT Charlie Walls was chosen from Portrush Sea Cadets for the Junior Girls Football Team.
