Rotary Club Continued Support!

Rotary Club Continued Support!

Recently, the Milford Haven Rotary Club has donated two new computers and Microsoft Office packages to the Milford Haven Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets.

This donation worth nearly £800.00 has seen the Unit's administration jet into the 21st Century, as well as providing a further computer which enhances the training that can be offered at the Unit in the Haven's Head Business Park.

Chief Petty Officer (SCC) Beverley Jenkins, the Commanding Officer comments "We have had a very good relationship with the Rotary Club for a number of years and the support they continually offer and show to the Unit is fantastic.  This particular donation allows the administration border to be handled at a quicker speed so that more time can be offered to the cadets on their training.  Thank you to all at Milford Haven Rotary Club for this kind donation".

Milford Haven Rotary Club President Robert Edwards commented that he was pleased to be able to support the Cadets as the organisation makes a really vital contribution to the young people in the town.  The donation was funded not only from our Club, but also from The Rotary Foundation, the charitable fund which is part of Rotary International.  For further details of the Rotary organisation Robert suggested looking at commenting that we haven't quite caught up with the Facebook and Twitter scene yet.

Remembrance Parade 2014

Remembrance Parade 2014

A massive well done to the smartly turned out Ship's Company of Training Ship Harrier (Sea Cadets, Royal Marines Cadets, Junior Sea Cadets and Adult Instructors) that attended the Milford Haven Remembrance Parade.

Especially as our first year with ALL members of the Royal Marines Cadets in their number 1's uniform and showing off another fantastic part of OUR Unit!

Petty Officer Cadet Callum Snape was the Parade Commander and carried it out with a great performance!  A smart young man carrying out such an important job for the day!

Able Cadet Sophie Hounsome carried out her duties as the Mayor's Cadet to a very high standard!

Able Cadet Harriet Evans laid Mr Stephen Crabb MP's wreath at the Cenotaph on his behalf.

Leading Cadet Scott Claypole, Marine Cadet Rhys Lewis and Leading Junior Cadet Ethan King laid the Unit's wreath with great pride!

BZ All!

You should ALL be proud of what you achieve and for remembering!

"We WILL Remember Them!"
