| 30/11/2014 - Today TS Orwell had the honour of marching behind the Royal Marine Band and the Ships company from HMS Quorn when they Paraded through Ipswich Town Centre, as they were given Freedom of the Borough. |  |
| Everyone at TS Orwell was requested to attend the parade by the Commanding Officer himself, and he requested that we march behind them. |  |

| 28/11/2014 - Yesterday HMS Quorn came in to Ipswich and TS Orwell was visited by the Commanding Officer and 3 of his ships company. | |

| They enjoyed spending time with the Cadets in their Specialisation Classes and talking to the Staff, they noticed we did not have a HMS Quorn crest. When they were about to leave, the Commanding Officer presents everyone at TS Orwell with a crest for HMS Quorn!! It really was a lovely visit and we have more surpirses with HMS Quorn over the weekend! |

| I would just like to add, how proud the staff are of POC Terry James for laying the wreath for our Unit and wearing your Grandads medals on parade. You should be extremely proud of yourself and we're sure your Grandad feels exactly the same, you did him proud today!! What a great way to finish your time as a Cadet at Ipswich Unit. |  |
