T.S. Forward recently received a kind donation from the Ellesmere Port Lions Club, the Lions donated £500 after the unit helped with their annual firework display in November. The money is kindly received and will be put to great use, ensuring underprivileged children can attended courses and continuing to carry out in-house training to all cadets and staff. The Ships Company of T.S. Forward and its committee would like to thank the Lions for their generosity and we look forward to working together in the future

Dedicated Service Honored

Recently the hard work and determination of one of our young adult volunteers was honoured by the Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside who is also the president of the North West Reserve Forces and Cadet Association. Petty Officer Robert Bellis was awarded the Lord Lieutenants Award for dedicated service to the Sea Cadet Corps, it was outlined how he had implemented new systems across the unit as the Training officer and has assisted in many cadets gaining experience that would not have before been possible. We are extremely proud of Robert and wish him good luck in the future.

Unfortunately Robert was unable to attend the presentation evening in Liverpool and therefore his mother kindly collected the award on his behalf.

Well Done Robert!
