Cadets attended the Community Club's Fun Day to promote Cowes Sea Cadets and encourage new members.  The Band performed in the Arena and were joined by local children who participated in marching with the Band and were then able to try out the instruments.

Six cadets travelled to London with staff to support AC Rusling in the National Solo Bugle Competition, with the kind help of sponsorship by Booker Cash and Carry.  A great day out was had by all especially for AC Rusling who came 2nd in the National Competition.

Cadets took part in a sponsored bible read to raise funds towards their new Unit.  Well done to OC Bradbury for getting the most sponsors.

LC Rusling was selected to represent the UK on the International Cadet Exchange in Bermuda.  She joined cadets from other countries where she met  the Deputy Governor of Bermuda. The cadets spent 12 days enjoying many activities ranging from water sports, snorkelling to archery and visiting the historial dockyard in Bermuda.

The Sea Cadet Band, trained by APO Walker, attended their first ever Southern Area Competition which was held at Chatham Dockyard.  The Band came 3rd in the Novice Class and AC Rusling came 1st in the Solo Bugle section.
