Carlisle Sea Cadets Flyng High

Carlisle Sea Cadets Flyng High

A rain swept Saturday 29 September 2012 saw staff and cadets travel up to Ayrshire to visit HMS Gannet Search and Rescue Flight based at RNAS Prestwick. The weather did not dampen the spirits of the 23 cadets who boarded a Sea King and took to the air, some of them flying for the very first time!

A big thank you has to go to all the personnel based at HMS Gannet for making us feel very welcome in what is the busiest rescue station in Britain.
