We’re back afloat!

We’re back afloat!

As the weather warms up we begin to get back afloat.
The cadets are so excited to shake off the cold weather and get back out on the water gaining great confidence as they also accomplish their boating qualifications.

Things are happening at last!

Things are happening at last!

Well at last things are moving forward! The builders are in and doing an amazing job to repair the damage caused by the flood.

A big thank you to GMD Contracting Ltd for taken the job on so quickly.

Doing what we do best!

Doing what we do best!

We have had a disastrous few months at Avonmouth but we are doing what we do best and getting on with things!

The end of 2022 we were victims of a burst water main to a hot water heater in our loft space.

As you can imagine we sustained some considerable damage due to the volume of water that flooded the majority of the building but we have continued to offer the best possible experience in an extraordinary way! We are very lucky to have our second building. Our Juniors have loved being in the warm Wardroom on a Monday evening whilst the Senior cadets have had classes throughout the building utilising any space we can for classes.

As we now begin the job of getting the main training building fit for purpose working with our insurance company along with the excess that we have  to pay we may inncur other expenses as we start to put things right so to help with this we have set up a GoFundMe page.

Please help us get back on our feet to enable us to offer the best posible cadet experience we can. You can donate by clicking on the link below and sharing the link to all you know. https://gofund.me/55c3608f

Halloween Training Day

Halloween Training Day

Our juniors had a great Halloween themed training day!

Juniors gained many qualifications on the day with lots of fun thrown in too! From apple bobbing to doughnuts on a string and making each other a mummy with lots of toilet roll.

The day was finished off with pizza then a movie and popcorn.
