Unit Divisions (14/04/22)

This evening at our unit divisions saw advancements for our NEC (New Entry Cadets) being ranked to Cadet Rate after completion of the NEC Syllabus. These Cadets are now able to attend activities away from the unit such as; boating, shooting and other proficiencies and specializations.

On the other side of the cadet experience 2 of our senior cadets AC Ben & AC Addison were both presented certificates for the Level 1 Teamwork and Personal Skills for Uniformed Youth Organizations.

BZ! Congratulations CDTs and ACs on your presentations.👏🏼

80 Years of Plymouth (Drake)

80 Years of Plymouth (Drake)

Did you know that this year marks 80 years of the unit serving and developing the youth of Plymouth?

As we enter our 80th year we are asking ex cadets to get in touch to share any dits (stories) of there time as a cadet and what they’re up to now. We will feature these on our social media along with the work of our current generation.

Interested in telling us your Golden Hind story? Feel free to message us!

Here’s to another 80 years!

Torpoint Band Visit

Torpoint Band Visit

Fantastic to have Torpoint Sea Cadets Band visit us at the unit this evening. The band performed a number of pieces brilliantly before ASO Band, Lt Tanner RN, gave a short presentation to the cadets about the musical opportunities available in the Corps.

Cadets form the unit are welcome to attend band training with Torpoint unit and can express interest through our unit! This is a fantastic opportunity that is worth getting involved in!
