Today members of our unit joined cadets from B Company Devon Army Cadet Force - Plymouth ACF Devon Army Cadet Force and  2174 Squadron Plymouth & Cornwall Wing Air Cadets volunteering at water station along the route of Plymouth 1/2 Marathon & 10K. 

This was an amazing opportunity for cadets from each service to interact with other cadets while achieve modules towards their advancement/ Army Cadet Syllabus.

This week we are running a Core Module week for South West Area Sea Cadets!

Joined by CFAV’s from across the Area who are delivering/ Co- delivering these modules to some of our new CFAV’s/those wanting to become substantive PO’s/Sgt’s.

Today was the end of the first Module of the week! ✅

WWYP (Working with Young People)….. a great course with lots of different experiences and valuable skills coming with our incredible Volunteers.

The unit was absolutely thrilled to get stuck into the ‘Big Help Out’ to mark the coronation of HM King Charles III. 

Our breakfast event was aimed at the whole service community; regular, reserve and veterans. It was undoubtedly a success. It was great to see the cadets meeting and talking with the community over a fantastic bit of scran.

​​​​​​Events like these aren't possible without the support we received. I'd like to thank the attendees for coming to join us, the cadets and volunteers. I also need to thank Plymouth City Council for there kind grant to fund the morning. Special thanks need to go to P/Sgt(SCC) Taylor who went above and beyond in his duties as Chef. He prepared some fantastic food that was enjoyed by all. BZ!

This Tuesday our unit had divisions with our unit president RAdm Snow CBE DL. 
 

He had the opportunity to inspect members of the unit followed by some presentations! 🏅 

From our unit Burgee and CSC Comendation to cadets receiving badges and certificates from passing proficiency and specialisation courses as well as, cadet receiving The Duke of Edinburgh's Award certificates for completing sections of their program and Certificates of achievement for competing sections of their award during lockdown and isolation periods from 2020 - 2022. 🎉
