We have restarted parading and getting use to the "new normal" with socially - distanced activities and working in bubbles of a maximum of 15 people with face masks on when inside.

Its taking a bit of getting used to but cadets and adult volunteers are all happy to be back on board!

TS Jack Petchey Voyage

TS Jack Petchey Voyage

10 cadets and 2 adult volunteers spent a week on board the Sea Cadet offshore power vessel TS Jack Petchey in August. Travelling down the coast from Hull to Ipswich the Wells Cadets took part in various activities including stearing, navigating and engineering. They even managed to get into Wells Harbour for an overnight stay showing off their new skills and teporary home to family and friends.

Captain Philip Russell Royal Navy will be visiting Wells SCC on Thursday 5th September. The purpose of his visit is to see whether Wells Sea Cadets are fit and ready for affiliation to the Marine Society & Sea Cadets and therefore becoming a recognised Unit of The Sea Cadet Corps.

Captain Russell will start his visit at 1900 hrs (7pm). All visitors and guests are asked to be seated no later than 1845 hrs (6.45 pm)
