Royal Marines Cadets

With the Summer Training Programme in full force and the Marine Cadets having undergone boatwork training in May and June, July has seen them move on to Fieldcraft Training on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings seeing them learn and out into practice a number of skills such as camouflage and concealment and why things are seen.

Following our last two fundraising events, we are extremely grateful to the following who have provided additional funding:

Just Group Plc have provided a 50% Matched Fundraising for our flag day bringing the total raised from this event to £837.15

After our Fudraising Concert, subsequent post event donations has increased the total amount raised to £1.050

Unit Band End June of a High

The Band had a busy end to June seeing them perform locally on both 29th and 30th June.

Saturday 29th saw them opening Rusthall Village Fete where we also had a recruitment stand throughout the day.

Sunday 30th they opened Southborough Lions Gala Day.

both these events are longstanding engagements we have in the local community.

On Saturday 22nd of June our band joined forces with Royal Tunbridge Wells Males Orpheus Male Voice Choice at St James' Church for a fundraising Concert.  A total of  £914 was raised towards the unit re-build project
