RNLI Visit

RNLI Visit

Just before the Beast from the East set in, we took a visit to the Lifeboat Station at Burnham on Sea where we were made very welcome.

The cadets had a great evening learning about the work that the RNLI do and getting a closer look at all their equipment.

Thank you so much to everyone for hosting us and making us very welcome. The rest of the cadets are looking forward to their visit which was postponed due to the weather.

We say very well done to our Royal Marines Cadets drill team who represented 3 Troop at the area drill & piping competition at HMS Raleigh. They took a very respectable 4th place in the South West Area. Also congratulations to MC2 Josh who was runner up in the Best Guard Commander section, BZ to all.

Also another very well done to the senior boys football team who represented the South West area at the national 5-a-side competition. They played well and fought hard and came in 5th in the country. BZ to all. Both achievements are fantastic for the unit.
