Annual Awards Night

Annual Awards Night

Our Cadet Awards Night on Monday at TS Carron was a fantastic evening and a wonderful celebration of the hard work, commitment, and achievements of our cadets. It was brilliant to see so many individuals recognised for their effort, progress, and dedication over the past year, and the pride shown by staff, families, and fellow cadets made the night even more special. There simply aren’t enough certificates or awards to reflect the effort put in, as every cadet has worked incredibly hard over the last year and should be extremely proud of what they have achieved—keep up the amazing work. Thank you to Mrs McRobb and our Harbour Master, Mr Brown, for presenting awards.

Mess Dinner 2025

Mess Dinner 2025

TS Carron enjoyed a truly wonderful Mess Dinner last night. It was a fantastic opportunity for the staff to express their sincere thanks to our cadets for their hard work, commitment, and dedication throughout the year. You all looked exceptionally smart.

A special thank you goes to Cadet Douglas for expertly piping in the party — your performance was outstanding, and the Christmas tunes on the bagpipes were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We were honoured to welcome our VIP guests, Calum Richardson, Alan and Neil from Mackie Rugby Club, and we extend our sincere thanks for their support and attendance. Our gratitude also goes to our Chairman, Mike Park OBE, for joining us and for his continued encouragement and hard work he does behind the scene for the unit.

We have our final Santa Sleigh tomorrow but if we don't see you, may we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas when it comes. We look forward to welcoming our cadets back in the New Year, with the unit reopening on the 5th, followed by our Cadet Awards evening on the 12th of January — please save the date.

Co-op Local Community Fund

Co-op Local Community Fund

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Stonehaven and the wider local community for choosing Stonehaven Sea Cadets as one of the beneficiaries of the Co-op Local Community Fund. We are incredibly grateful to have received an amazing £1,980.

This generous contribution will make a real and lasting difference to our unit. It will help us with essential running costs, support maintenance of our boats, and allow us to continue providing our cadets with a safe, engaging, and enriching experience on and off the water.

From all of us at the unit, a huge and sincere thank you for your support. Your kindness helps us inspire the next generation
