Royal Naval Parade 2014

Royal Naval Parade 2014

We would like to invite family and friends of St Albans Sea Cadets  to attent our Royal Naval Parade on the 28th february, 2014. This parade takes place once every two years and provides visitors with the opportunity to see a snipit of what our training involves in the Sea Cadets. The evening will officially commence with cadets falling in for colors and inspection at 19:15. Following the inspection, light refreshments will be provided, however, it is advised all cadets have a proper meal before attending the unit.

After the break, VIP's and visitors will have the opportunity to see a snipit of some of the training that takes place at the unit. Senior cadets will be teaching a range of lessons to thier shipmates and we are sure if you wish, they would be happy to demonstrate and teach you aswell.

It is advised that cadets arrive at the unit for 1830 to get into their uniform and ready for inspection by Cdr S Watt RN. Visitors are welcome onboard and should ensure for health and safety purposes, that they sign in upon arrival.

The final part of the evening will be the annual award ceremony. This is where staff volunteers recognise cadets for outstanding progress within the year. The evening will come to a close with a colors ceremony whereby cadets will be dismissed from duty.

Yours aye,

TS St Albans
