The International Sea Cadet Association (ISCA) Exchange Programme is a unique opportunity for our young people to experience Cadetting in other member Countries.

This year, AC Kate has been very fortunate in being selected to visit the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets for 3 weeks in July.  We hope she has a fantastic time!

TS Starling is 75 Years Young

TS Starling will be 75 years young in May 2018! There will be a variety of activities and celebrations throughout the year to mark this milestone, and we'll keep you posted so that we can all celebrate together.

We'll be celebrating with Starlings who have flown the nest, current members and some new fledglings who are yet to experience the great opportunities we have to offer.

Thanks for your ongoing support.

Sefton 4 Good Citizen Award for our Fundraiser

Sefton 4 Good Citizen Award for our Fundraiser

Sefton Council for Voluntary Service have awarded our Fundraising Coordinator - Alison McAllister - a Sefton 4 Good Citizen Award for her work in keeping our Unit afloat.

The citation reads:

Alison McAllister is the Fundraising Officer of Sefton Sea Cadets and during her time with the charity has raised thousands of pounds for the Unit. As a result,Sefton Sea Cadets has been about to deliver fantastic developmental opportunities to over 70 young people in South Sefton.

A large proportion of the cadets are classed as Looked After, have a disability or struggle to achieve academic attainment, so the Unit has proven to be a lifeline for these young people.

They rely heavily on donations and Alison has been pivotal in providing the fundraising expertise to help keep the Unit afloat in the current financial climate.
