Four Seaham Sea Cadets will enjoy an incredible adventure on TS Royalist from 9th - 15th November 2013 on our flagship, TS Royalist.

A voyage on TS Royalist is open to all 14,000 UK Sea Cadets and every year she takes around 1500 cadets to sea, that’s 30,000 since her launch in 1971. Our cadets will experience the most exhilarating – and unique challenges. Whether it’s hoisting the sails in stormy weather or navigating big waves, nothing compares to the feeling of being out at sea, right there in the elements, taking on challenging nautical training and pulling together with other cadets to safely navigate Britain’s coastline. This is teamwork taken to another level.  

Our Duke of Edinburgh Training starts soon and along with other planned escapades throughout 2015 & 2016, Seaham Sea Cadets are getting ready for a good walk!

You can earn a range of valuable and useful qualifications as a Sea Cadet and we recognise that the Duke of Edinburgh programme is a real adventure from beginning to end.  It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from.  You just need to be aged between 14 and 24 and realise there’s more to life than sitting on a sofa watching life pass you by.
