Carols by Candlelight St. Mary's Church Tuesday...

This was the Cadets own Carol Service held at St. Mary's Church.

Cadet's, friends and family attended this wonderful event. There were hot drinks and home made mince pies afterwards.

A lovely nativity play and good readings.  Well done to all and Merry Christmas.

The Royal Marine's Band ~ Christmas Concert

The Royal Marine's Band ~ Christmas Concert

The band of the Royal Marine's (Scotland) came to the Scarborough Spa on Friday 30th November 2012.

The concert was on behalf of the Scarborough Sea Cadet's.

The concert was held in the Grand Hall and was a great success.  Over 300 people attended and we held a very successful raffle organised by the FFGSSC (Friends and Family Group).

It is hoped that this event will return in 2013 and those who missed out on a superb night will have the opportunity to come and the ones who enjoyed a wonderful night can experience it all again. Smile

Remembrance Parade Sunday 11th November 2012

Remembrance Parade Sunday 11th November 2012

This was a very well attended parade. Very good reports were received from many quarters. We met at the Queen Street Methodist Central Hall near 'Boyes' at 09:30. The Service saw the Cadets make a 'Guard of Honour' for the Standards. We then marched down to the R.N.L.I boat station for the 'Remembrance' service. The beach had hundreds of people there for the service and was wonderfully respected by all.

A good crowd watched the cadets march through the town centre to the Royal British Legion H/Q.
