FOUR AWARDS IN A ROW

Awards can be a bit like busses. You don’t see one for ages, and then four come along in quick succession. That’s the way it’s been for the cadets of theTS St Christopher. After some thirty years of not winning an ‘efficiency pennant’, theTS St Christopherhas been awarded one in each of the past four years. The last time that happened was between 1976 and 1979 when the unit was run by Lt Tom Golder, of Caol. The 2011 pennant was awarded recently by sea cadet headquarters inLondonand marked the culmination of another year of hard work carried out by the cadets, adult volunteers and management committee.
