It is always an honour to attend memorial services that recognise the sacrifices of local heroes, and on Saturday 2nd August we were invited to attend the Annual Gallipoli Memorial Service at All Saints Church. Events such as this and the VE Day Parade back in May give cadets the chance to pay their respects to those who fought for a brighter future.

Hanseatic Ski Festival
The Hanseatic Ski Festival is one of the biggest fundraising events of the year for us, and we love opening our doors to the public and inviting them inside to have a look around the unit. We are currently trying to raise £5000 for a new power boat, and so the money raised this weekend has helped us get one step closer to that goal.
Marham Funday
Today we were at Marham Funday, running our own stall and talking to the public about Sea Cadets. It was a swelteringly hot day but the cadets did a fantastic job of engaging with visitors and making the unit proud!
District Rowing Competition
Well done to our cadets today at the District Rowing Competition. The Open girls team put in a hell of an effort and worked themselves exhausted and came away with Runners up. Our open boys teamed up with Boston unit also.
Well done all and thank you to the instructors who gave up their time to help.
First night of boating 2025
This evening marked our first night of boating this year. With the evenings getting lighter and termperatures rising the cadets are having a lot of fun learning about boating, sailing and even kayaking.
