Presentation Evening 2014

This years presentation evening was a fabulous evening.  Thank you so much for all the parents who came along to support their children and also a huge thank you to the Deputy Lord Lt. David Pearson who made the evening a pleasureable occasion.  The evening was funded by the Safer Community Grant which we received earlier on in the year.

Also thank you to Sub Lt Joanne Goodchild who organised the event.

It was Keighley's turn to host this years Trafalgar Day Parade, and Keighley Town Council awarded us £550 to go towards the West Yorkshire Fire Fighters Band who were absolutely amazing.  Thank you so much for your support.

Bisley Shooting Team 2014

8 of Keighley Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets attended the 2014 Annual CCRS Inter-Services Cadet Rifle Meeting Competition at Bisley, Surrey in July.
This is an international/inter service competition against Army, Air, Sea and RM Cadets competing against Canadian and South African Forces. 
We are proud to report that our cadets came a very respectable 3rd out of 16 in the competition, 4 of our cadets won the somerset medal for being in the top 8 highest scorers and also Sgt Rosie Clarke was awarded the Tyro Award for best coach.
