Armed Forces Day 2025

Today TS Quail SCC did themselves proud supporting Armed Forces Day for the islington veterans Association and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant.

Our cadets attended a service of remembrance with the Islington Veterans Association and spent the day talking to the public about what they do at Sea Cadets, alongside working as a team to take care of each other, set the stand up and remove it after the event....

We're recruiting for more cadets and volunteers who would like to learn teamwork, communication, self discipline and presentation skills.. All while making friends and experiencing a life less ordinary.- get in touch now.

Unit update 2021

Unit update 2021

Islington Sea Cadets were hoping to reopen in a temporary location in April 2020 however Covid sadly put pay to that.

Throughout lockdown one of the newly recruited Junior Cadets attended regular virtual parade sessions with London Northern District and London Area cadets and eventually over a year later, in May 2021 we got to meet face to face when we started to parade alongside City of London unit.

We are slowly buiding up our cadet numbers, recruiting Junior Sea Cadets aged 10-11 and also looking for adults interested in becoming instructors, members of the unit management team or unit helpers.
