PIPING SUCCESS AT NATIONALS

PIPING SUCCESS AT NATIONALS

Once again and for the 3rd year running, our Pipers made it to the National Drill & Piping Competition.

Individual Piper - POC Ashton took GOLD in her final competition as a cadet

and the Team took Silver Medal this year with just 2 points in it (only 4 seconds in piping times)

Another fantastic performance.

Exciting Aviation Opportunity

Exciting Aviation Opportunity

Sea Cadets is not just about the water!

LC Green found himself the lucky participant in the Cadet Aviation Programme. Having completed a written application of their own, and being accepted, cadets attend a week of theory and practical flying, culminating in a fulll flight in a grob tutor.

After passing his Bronze Wings, LC Green has been selected to go on to the Silver Wings course.

TS Royalist Voyage

TS Royalist Voyage

A number of cadets had the fantastic opportunity of an offshore voyage from Weymouth to Dartmouth via the Channel Islands (stopping at 3 of them) on TS Royalist.

TS ROYALIST is the Sea Cadets flagship, a training brig that takes twenty-four cadets to sea for six day voyages, and and were also accompanied by a pod of bow-riding dolphins!

New Cadet Enrolments

New Cadet Enrolments

It's always a pleasure to enrol Cadets after they've completed their New Entry training.

Their enrolment comes at the end of 8 weeks of preliminary training and is the culmination of their own efforts and the dedication of the staff and experienced cadets of TS leopold-Muller. In enrolling, Cadets made the Sea Cadet promise and began what will hopefully be a long and satisfying career as a fully-fledged Cadet. From this point, they have access to all the resources of the Sea Cadets Corps and will be equipped to make a full contribution to the community and others both in the Cadets and beyond.
