Able Cadets Thompson and Yorke spent the week 16th - 21st August at HMS excellent in portsmouth learning and passig the Cadet Advanced Seamanship qualification.
On Monday 24th August we had the working bell from HMS Centaur (the ship in which we are named after) delivered to us.
the bell came fro the aircraft carrier that was scrapped in the 1960's and was used as a bell in a chapel which has now found its way to us making us one of very few units to have a bell fom the ship we are named after.
