Staff and cadets from the Unit stayed aboard for three days of celebrations for the ship's birthday.

The cadets paraded with serving sailors from the Type 23 Frigate HMS Westminster and veterans from the HMS Belfast Association. They also did numerous displays for the general public visiting the ship, raising the profile of both the Unit and the wider Sea Cadet Corps.

As usual the Remembrance Sunday weekend was a busy couple of days for the Unit. On the Saturday the Unit participated in the Lord Mayor's Show. Able Cadet Jessica O'Sullivan was appointed Lord Mayor's Cadet for the duration of the new Lord Mayor's tenure.

On the Sunday the Unit took part in the traditional Remembrance Service, held on the Quarter Deck of HMS Belfast. After this the cadets were warmed-up with soup and hot dogs, while the London Branch of the Coastal Forces Veterans' Association held a post-Service get together in the Gunroom, organised by the Unit's Parents' and Supporters' Association.

The following Tuesday senior cadets provided a ceremonial guard at the Maritime Media awards. The photograph shows Cadet Yasmine Leblebici presenting a bouquet to the Princess Royal.
