Cadets and staff had great time , had games, stalls, and tug of war. Visited by the Air Ambulance helicopter and crew.
10th August. Chelmsford Sea Cadet Fun Day
Meadows Rewards for After School Clubs initiative
We attended the meadows Shopping center to be awarded our Prize for the meadows Rewards After School Club Initative. But with a difference, We came 2nd prize which was the best place to come. First prize went to a dance group called Dance 21, a local down syndrome dance group for children /adults. We met some of the 30 members which was a pleasure, so friendly, and polite. So big well done to cadets, and a BIG well done to Dance 21.
14th July. Sea Sunday Parade.
Cadets and staff marched at the Sea Sunday parade this sunday. The Cadets looked very smart even though it was a very hot day.
13th July . Chelmsford Raft Race
The day was a brilliant day. had 8 rafts enter, and was lots of cheering and gettiing wet. Danbury Roofing won first prize. Sainsburys won second prize, but had donated prize to the unit. Third prize went to a group of young men raising funds For farleigh Hospice.
11th July. Heart of Essex Fundraising Award.
Our Fundraiser Andi Higham got nominated for this award by staff. Was held at The Crown Plaza and was presented by Martin & Sue, and a member of Air Ambulance.
