Remembrance Parade 2023!

On the 12th November 2023 Birmingham Sherbourne was honoured to take part and put thier best foot forward at Saint Nicolas Church Kings Norton Birmingahm B38 8RU. This was to Remember those who faught for our country.

Rememberance Day Facts:

  • It originated to commemorate the end of World War I on November 11, 1918, which is why it falls on 11th November every year.
  • Poppies are worn as a symbol of Remembrance Day, because they were seen growing over the graves of soldiers.
  • A two-minute silence is held at 11am as a sign of respect to those who died.
  • Services are held in churches and at The Cenotaph in London on the nearest Sunday to Armistice Day.

Birmingham Sherburne Placed A Poppy Reef not only at this parade but also, Birmingham City Centre and as far as Cambridge, as Staff Remembered those with thier families.

It was amazing to see many of our cadet Next of Kins/families at the parade, showing much love, support and dedication.
