District rowing regatta

This year was a fantastic year for Wisbech cadets at our annual District rowing competition.

This is the first time in a long long time for the cadets to have won in the open girls section for the unit where they then progressed to excel themselves at area level.

The boys rowing team also excelled themselves at district level coming 2nd.

Party in the park wisbech

Party in the party is an event held every year by the Royal British Legion and we are asked to help out during the day. by helping generally and getting the chance to hold a stall for recruitment.

 

 

Watlington village fete

The sea cadets helped the event by helping with car parking and holding a stall for the day.

It was a fantastic day with the cadets enjoying their duties whilst also getting the fun of fete games, whilst helping raise money for the unit.

TS Falcon were delighted to take part in this year's remembrance day parade in Wisbech.

7 Sea Cadets, 3 junior cadets and one new entry took part in the parade, alongside member of the instructional staff.

As is traditional, the unit led the cadet forces contingent, and followed the join cadet service band along the parade.

MACT 12

Cadets and Staff from TS Falcon have attended the recent MACT (Multi-Activity Cadet Training) course held at Cambridge unit this weekend.

Cadets from our unit have taken part in advancement boards, hoping to be promoted to Leading or Petty Officer Cadet. Others have taken part in the Metrology course to develop their understanding of the weather and methods of predicting future weather patterns.

Staff supported the course by delivering the Intermediate Rigging and Ropework, and the Intermediate Communication and Information Systems course also.
