Are you or your young person looking for adventure, challenge, and friendship?
We’re recruiting both Cadets and Adult Volunteers to join our fantastic team at Tooting & Balham Sea Cadets!

🌊 For Young People (Ages 9–17)
Join as a Sea Cadet and discover a world of opportunities — from powerboating, sailing, rowing and kayaking to leadership, teamwork, and gaining nationally recognised qualifications.
Make new friends, grow your confidence, and take part in experiences you’ll never forget!

👩‍✈️ For Adults (18+)
We’re also looking for passionate Adult Volunteers to help us deliver our incredible cadet programme.
There are plenty of ways to get involved:

  • Uniformed Instructors – Deliver exciting training and mentor young people.

  • Unit Assistants / Civilian Instructors – Support behind the scenes or help with admin, events, and activities (no uniform required).

  • Unit Management Team (UMT) Trustees – Help guide and support the running of the unit.

No prior experience is needed — we provide all the training and support you need.
