face to Face parading is back

27 September 2020

After 6 months of virtual learning, and a few weeks of hard work behind the scenes from our wounderful volunteers, we have had our first night of face 2 face parading. We welcomed current and new Juniors to a fun filled night of activities, which saw them learn about displacement. Cadets had to design their boats, make them from tin foil, then place objects in them to see how much they could hold.

Return of Outdoor Activities

14 September 2020

Commanding Officer, PO (SCC) J. Kelly, is pleased to announce that TS Black Swan, Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadets, has recived confirmation that we can now resume outdoor training activities. This includes things such as, day walking for the Duke of Edinburgh award.  

Return of Face to Face Parading

11 September 2020

Commanding Officer PO (SCC) J. Kelly, states that he is pleased to announce that TS Black Swan, Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadets will resume parading from Friday 25th September 2020, all be it with reduced numbers of cadets and different nights and days. 

He then goes on to thank all of his team of volunteers who have been hard at work behind the scenes completing all our Risk Assessments and getting our Covid Secure action plan into place. Along with this, he goes on to say how greatful he is for all the hard work put into getting the unit ready, with signage, decorating and producing a training plan which will allow our cadets to continue with their Cadet Experiance.

At the moment Sunbury & Walton Sea Cadets are closed due to the current pandemic. However, please do not let that stop you from enquiring about places and the unique oppertunities that we have to offer.

We are working hard behind the scenes to make our unit Covid secure and ready to welcome back our current cadets and any potential new ones.
