On the Monday 18th March, we're having a Bring a Friend and an Open evening for 10-12 Years old to come down and see what we get up to.

If your aged 10-18 why not come along and see what it's all about.  Our Juniors are for ages 10-12, Seniors are 12-18 and Royal Marine Cadets are 13-18.  We offer a huge range of activities including, Powerboating, Kayaking, D of E, Seamanship, Drill, Fieldcraft, Navigation, Marine Engineering and much much more!  We also have access to a wide range of national level activities and an offshore power/sail fleet giving fantastic opportunities to our cadets.

TS Royalist & TS Jack Petchy Sept 2018

3 Cadets went off on TS Royalist for a week travelling from Weymouth to Gosport but sailed down to Guersy. 

The Cadets learn lots of different skills while on board both ships they have been on the helm, look out and logging data in the ships log. Then they carry out Man Overboard Drills, chart work, bends and hitches plus lots lots more.

Chief Petty Officer Advancement Board August 2017

The Unit Commanding Officer, spent the week up in Scotland and trained to become a Chief Petty Officer (CPO). And after the week he became the CPO. 

So a massive congratulations to him and the rest of the staff who was on the advancement board. 

Trainee Instructor Programme 2017

Our Able Cadet Whitmore , got to spend 6 weeks up in Scotland with other cadets from across the county.

 Their hard work, determination and 1000% effort paid off as they all PASSED the RYA Dinghy Instructor Course. We would like to congratulate them on a fantastic programme and wish them all the luck for the future.
