30th January 2015 - Staines Cadets proudly completed the unit drill weekend spending many hours on their feet in not quite so pleasant weather conditions. Great effort and commitment resulting in a tidy and professional drill routine.

31st October 2014 - Congratulations to all cadets that attended and passed (all) the 3rd class seamanship weekend held at TS Thamesis, 31st October to 2nd November 2014. Well done, good turnout and many potential cadets for the 2nd class courses. Also, the surprise uniform and bed space inspection went surprisingly well.

15th - 17th November saw the unit hold a Junior weekend. Great fun was had by all and loads of activities where available to everyone, including compass making, beret shaping classes, nature walks and survival kit making. Lots and lots of badges were gained so another sucessful weekend at Staines!

18th - 20th October saw the unit hold its very first CIS intermediate course, where all 7 cadets in attendance gained their CIS intermediate qualification! BZ

Well done to LC Adam Cook who attended his Leading Cadet Board and has now been promoted to Leading Cadet. This is well deserved as he has trained very hard over the ast few months and is the forst LC the unit have had sincde 2010. 

Also a massive well done to CPO seex who has also been promoted to Chief Petty Officer after his sucessful completion of his CPO Board.
