Sheffield Fayre 2015 Recruitment

We were at Sheffield Fayre '15 in one of the countries oldest parks - Norfolk Heritage Park. Recruitment and fun & games (as always!) been good to see the new entries since. Reminder - there is now a waiting list for Juniors and Royal Marine Cadets, visit the Unit on a Parade Night to get your name down now!

Help for Heroes Concert

The Worrall Male Vocal Choir held a concert for Help4Heores, raising money for Phonix House in Catterick. Joining them was the Military WAGS and Bolsterstone Choirs.
TS Sheffield Cadets were on hand with 370 ATC to help with stewarding, while our very own Band Corps performed to open the night.
Included in the audience were special guests:
Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for South Yorkshire.
The Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Sheffield.
The Master and Mistress Cutler.
Presented by BBC Radio Sheffield's Mr Gerry Kersey
Well done to our crew as all said you performed and stewarded brilliantly and respectfully.

Cliffhanger 2015 - Recruitment Weekend

We had a fun big weekend of recruitment, displays, band and lots of dancing! Over 15,000 people came to Cliffhanger 2015, on offer - everything from caving and biking to fell-running, orienteering, free running and scuba diving. and TS Sheffield was there with our Band Corps performing throughout the day.

Armed Forces Day 2015

Armed Forces Day 2015

On Saturday our Ships Company was on Parade with The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Talib Hussain, and Sheffield Armed Forces and Veterans to celebrate Armed Forces and Veterans Day with a series of activities.
As part of the national events, Sheffield Peace Gardens was set up for a mass parade of public, veterans & cadet forces, TS Sheffield being the largest this year.
Ashby Big Band played after with our own Band Corps performing on Fargate at our recruitment stall.
Thanks to all who could attend, another great turn-out!
