Well done to the 2 cadets that finally received their windsurfing qualifications that they gained back on October. 

We also had some great lessons going on around the unit which included practical leadership tasks with the Cadets but lead by the Able Cadets, the shipping forecast with the Ordinary Cadets, intro to fieldcraft with the MCs and ranks and rates of the RAF & Army with the Cadet 1st Classes and LCpl's.

Last night we held our last divisions of the year.

Well done to all the cadets that received an award or qualification. 

This isn't it for awards this year as we have our annual awards night later this month so keep an eye out for those.

Sheffield fell silent today as we remembered those who sacrificed everything for our freedom.

Each year we parade the Normandy and Burma Star Associations’ standards in honour of those veterans who are no longer with us or able to parade.

We were also honoured to be able to assist with parading the HMS Sheffield Association Standard today. A testament to the enduring affiliation between our unit and all those ships that have borne the name HMS Sheffield.

A massive well done to all our cadets and adult volunteers who paraded, the turnout was fantastic and everyone looked very smart.

'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

Yesterday, cadets and adult volunteers attended North West District's Trafalgar Parade in Worksop to commemorate the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Well done to everyone that took part.
