It is with great pride that we announce that Rear Admiral Christopher Snow CBE DL has handed over the reins of Unit President to Rear Admiral Paul Halton OBE. Rear Admiral Halton has previously served in the Royal Navy with commands held in HMS Spartan, COMDEVFLOT and Commmander Operations. We look forward to working with Rear Admiral Halton to continue to develop the unit and promote the unit with the wider community.

We are incredibly grateful to Rear Admiral Snow who has served as our Unit President over the last four years and has presided over a number of ceremonial events in the unit, including our 80th anniversary. RAdm Snow has kindly agreed to be appointed as our Honourary Vice President for life. 

The Supersession ceremony was held at the units annual Trafalgar Night fundraising dinner. 

BZ to OC Chloe and AC Hannah who represented the unit as part of Torpoint Sea Cadets unit band at the South West Area Sea Cadets band competition today. Our two musicians clearly didn’t miss a beat!

Today members of our unit joined cadets from B Company Devon Army Cadet Force - Plymouth ACF Devon Army Cadet Force and  2174 Squadron Plymouth & Cornwall Wing Air Cadets volunteering at water station along the route of Plymouth 1/2 Marathon & 10K. 

This was an amazing opportunity for cadets from each service to interact with other cadets while achieve modules towards their advancement/ Army Cadet Syllabus.
