PADSTOW SEA CADETS

2023 - A New Year to look forward to.

2023 arrived with a cold snap!  The cost of living has increased by as much as 50% or more and price hikes are affecting us all!  As a registered charity (No: 300581) we also are having to fight to keep our head above water.  What with the Covid pandemic over the last couple of years and the subsequent issues that it threw up we find ourselves with a shortfall of voluntary donations in the region of £3000.   We can survive through 2023 but will need to replenish our savings as soon as is possible.

Businesses from Padstow and the local villages as well as the general public have always been very generous to us as a youth organisation with donations and support for which we are eternally grateful.   It is hoped that  things will improve and once again your kind donations and support will be forthcoming.

Padstow Sea cadet Unit has been help the local youth since its inception for over 60 years and has seen many locals pass through its doors.  It supports the comminity in many ways, some activities are high visibilty and others happen outside of the limelight.

We are currently hosting around 24 Cadets from 10 to 18 years of age.  We do have a few other places spare and are currently recruiting to fill these places.

If you feel you can support us with a donation, please click on the button at the top of the page.

Best Wishes to you all for 2023.
