Presentation Evening

This evening is Middlesbrough Sea Cadets Presentation Evening, a chance for the unit to come together and celebrate the success of the cadets and all that they have achieved. We are hoping that this evening will be a full and enjoyable experience for all invited. We have special guests such as the Depute Lord Lieutenant and Councillors from the Middlesbrough Ward.

We as a unit have decided to make this occasion extra special by throwing a BAFTA styled awards, with entertainment from the cadets, hosted by the Commanding and Executive Officer. This should be a fun filled night for all; we will post the winners in our next update.

If you are interested in becoming a Sea Cadet and want to try something that you have never done before then please don't hesitate to contact the unit.

Royal Navy Parade Preparation

Middlesbrough Sea Cadets have been working hard to ensure that the Area Officer Captain Peter Adams, has an enjoyable evening at this years Royal Navy Parade. This is a big opportunity for the young people of the unit to show all the skills they have gained over the past year. We are hoping for a good attendance from VIPs, parents and local business personnel. The parade will be held on Thursday 8th October 2015, starting at 7pm and located at Middlesbrough Sea Cadet Unit.

BE AT THE HEART OF IT - VOLUNTEER WITH...

Middlesbrough Sea Cadets need the help of people like you - volunteers who are happy to roll up their sleeves, get involved and potentially make a difference to the lives of so many young people from our region.

We have lots of roles to match your skills from working directly with cadets and giving them a head start in life as you guide them through the training we do or from behind the scenes by using your practical business skills and common sense to help shape the unit by being a member of the Unit Management Team. Training and support will be provided to help you.

As a volunteer member of Middlesbrough Sea Cadets you will gain a sense of personal achievement, invest in your local community, meet new people, make new friends, become part of a team which supports young people and create the opportunity to bolster your CV. This is also a role which you can fit around your busy life, in fact most of our Unit Management Team are in full time employment.  To find out more, please contact the Northern Area Training and Development Officer on 07711 369327 or cpaczko@ms-sc.org
