Trafalgar Day celebrations

Trafalgar Day celebrations

TS Mersey have been off on their travels again and this weekend 5 cadets took part in the National Trafalgar Day celebrations held on Horseguards Parade in London. They travelled to Portsmouth for 2 days training before heading into London early this morning.
Our three Royal Marine Cadets took part in the Guard and had wrest bearer duties and the Sea Cadets formed part of the North West marching platoon with some of their friends from across the Area.
They beamed with pride as they took part in the service, followed by a march past for the VIPs and a march back down The Mall and past Buckingham Palace and into Wellington Barracks.
Congratulations to all of you, your behaviour was exemplary and you are a credit to the unit!
