Tombola success at Huntingdon Christmas Lights...

The tombola run by the Sea Cadets at the Huntingdon Town Christmas lights turn-on was a great success.

£208 was raised on the afternoon of Sunday 24th November in Huntingdon Market Square. Also, Sea Cadets sold numerous tickets for the raffle to be drawn on the Presentation Evening on 8th December.

Thanks to everyone involved for turning out in the cold weather.

Junior Boys have a good day out at the National...

The Huntingdon Junior Boys Rowing Team put in an excellent effort at the National Finals at the Royal Victoria Docks on Saturday 28 September 2013.

Unfortunately, our team, representing Eastern Area, were up against strong competition from the other teams. Many of the other teams had greater experience - and had competed in the finals before. The Southern Team (from Henley-on-Thames) won the event.

However, our team competed brilliantly and were pipped to second place in two of their races. Well done boys (and Megan) and hopefully we'll be back bigger and stronger next year!

Good luck to Jack Clarke in the National Finals

Good luck to Jack Clarke in the National Finals

Congratulations to Jack Clarke who became the Mayor of Huntingdon's Sea Cadet for year 2013-2014. The Mayor is currently Bill Hensley and Jack will join him on various official duties during the year.

Additionally Jack is attending the National Sailing Finals in Southport on 14th/15th September. He is currently the National Champion in the PY Class (with Adam Hart) and he will defend his title. Good luck Jack.
